Indiana Edges Georgetown, 1-0, to Earn its Eighth National Title
Indiana got a goal from Nikita Kotlov in the 64th minute and the stifling Hoosier defense made it stick Sunday. Indiana defeated Georgetown 1-0 at Regions Park to claim its eighth national championship. The goal came after a kick from near the corner-kick spot came in to Eriq Zavaleta. Georgetown goalkeeper Tomas Gomez rushed to the right of the goal to keep Zavaleta in check. When Zavaleta's header attempt came to the center, Kotlov then had a wide-open net and didn't miss.
Indiana Downs Creighton, 1-0, to Advance to National Title Match
With a goal from freshman Femi Hollinger-Janzen in the 27th minute, the Indiana Hoosiers will make their 14th NCAA title game appearance and first since 2004 with a 1-0 win over the Creighton BlueJays in the NCAA College Cup semifinal match at Regions Park in Hoover, Ala. Indiana will face the Georgetown Hoyas at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday for the NCAA title.

No. 16 Indiana faces No. 12 Creighton today in the NCAA semifinals at 7:30 p.m. ET in Hoover, Ala. The game will be televised live on ESPNU.
Indiana Edges No. 9 North Carolina, 1-0, to Advance to College Cup
No. 16 Indiana defeated No. 9 North Carolina, 1-0, in Chapel Hill, N.C., on Friday night in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Tournament. Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year Eriq Zavaleta scored the lone goal for the Hoosiers in the 60th minute off of a rebound header. The tally proved to be the difference as the Indiana defense held its ground for the final 30 minutes to defeat the defending national champions. The Hoosiers move on to the Final Four and will face No. 12 Creighton on Dec. 7 at 7:30 p.m. ET, in Hoover, Ala.
Indiana Set to Play in Quarterfinal Round Today
No. 16 seed Indiana will face No. 9 North Carolina in the quarterfinal round of the NCAA Championship tonight. The Hoosiers kickoff at 6 p.m. ET in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Northwestern Falls to No. 10 Louisville, 2-1
Northwestern fell to No. 10 Louisville, 2-1, in the third round of the NCAA tournament this evening. The Cardinals jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the third minute, however the Wildcats rebounded quickly as Jarrett Baughman tallied a goal off of a corner kick in the fifth minute to tie the score. After over 80 minutes of scoreless action, Louisville found the back of the net with just over three minutes to play to take a 2-1 lead. Northwestern ends its season with a 13-6-4 record.
No. 16 Indiana Downs No. 1 Notre Dame in Double Overtime, 2-1
No. 16 Indiana defeated top-seeded Notre Dame, 2-1, in double overtime in the third round of the NCAA Championship this afternoon. The Fighting Irish got on the board first early in the second half, but the Hoosiers responded with a Nikita Kotlov goal 56 seconds later to knot the score at 1-1. After a scoreless overtime period, Eriq Zavalata found the back of the net in the second extra frame to give Indiana the 2-1 win. The Hoosiers advance to the quarterfinal round where they will face No. 9 North Carolina on Friday, Nov. 30 at 6 p.m. ET in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Indiana and Northwestern Resume Action in the NCAA Championships Today
Indiana and Northwestern both compete in the third round of the tournament today. The No. 16 Hoosiers will take on No. 1 Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind. at 3 p.m. ET, while the Wildcats face No. 10 Louisville at 7 p.m. ET in Louisville, Ky.

Big Ten Freshman of the Year Joey Calistri tallied his team-leading ninth goal of the season in the 31st minute and that was all the Wildcats needed as they upset No. 7 seed Marquette in the second round of the 2012 NCAA Tournament Sunday night. Northwestern advances past the second round of the NCAA Tournament for the fourth time in the team's seven trips to the big dance and will play in the quarterfinal round on Sunday, Nov. 25 against No. 10 seed Louisville.

Michigan fell to fifth-seeded Akron, 2-1, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday. James Murphy scored the lone goal for the Wolverines in the 63rd minute. Michigan ends its season with an 11-10-1 record.
Michigan State Falls to No. 1 Notre Dame, 3-0
Michigan State's impressive second-half run came to its conclusion on Sunday afternoon, as the Spartans fell at No. 1 Notre Dame, 3-0, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Michigan State concludes its season with a 12-10-1 record and the Big Ten Tournament crown.

Indiana Tops Xavier, 4-1
Indiana defeated Xavier, 4-1, in the second round of the NCAA Championship Sunday afternoon. The Hoosiers were led by Nikita Kotlov's first career hat trick, while Femi Hollinger-Janzen scored Indiana's other goal. The 16th seeded Hoosiers move on to the round of 16 and will face No. 1 seed Notre Dame on Sunday, Nov. 25 in South Bend, Ind.

It took a little over 62 minutes but Northwestern senior Nick Gendron was able to break the deadlock and score the lone goal of the match as the Wildats took down Western Illinois in the first round of the NCAA tournament Thursday night at Lakeside Field. Northwestern dominated the game with 19 shots to seven for the Leathernecks, but stellar goalkeeping by WIU's Yves Dietrich kept the game close. Northwestern moves on to face No. 7 Marquette on Sunday at 5 p.m. ET.

Michigan downed Niagara, 3-1, in the first round of the tournament on Thursday evening. The Wolverines trailed 1-0 with 21 minutes remaining when Fabio Villas Boas Pereira netted a hat trick in seven minutes. Michigan will play No. 5 Akron in the second round on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Michigan State defeated Cleveland State, 2-1, in the first round of the NCAA Championship Thursday afternoon. The Big Ten Tournament Champion Spartans extended their season-best winning streak to four games thanks to a goal and an assist by both Adam Montague and Nick Wilson. Michigan State advances to take on No. 1 seed Notre Dame on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.

Three Big Ten Teams to Compete in NCAA Championship Opening Round
Michigan, Michigan State and Northwestern will compete in the first round of the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship on Thursday. Big Ten Tournament Champion Michigan State hosts Cleveland State at 1 p.m. ET, while Michigan welcomes Niagara to Ann Arbor, Mich., at 7 p.m. ET and Northwestern hosts Western Illinois at 8 p.m. ET. Indiana earned a bye into the second round as the No. 16 seed. The Hoosiers will face either Kentucky or Xavier in Bloomington, Ind., at 2 p.m. ET on Sunday.
