NSCAA Men's Soccer Top 25 Poll

The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its weekly rankings on Tuesday with Indiana, Maryland, Michigan State and Northwestern garnering recognition on this week’s poll.

Indiana came in at No. 5 this week after spending last week at No. 7. The Hoosiers earned the No. 5 seed in the 2014 NCAA Tournament, and will host the winner of Thursday’s Monmouth versus Xavier match in the second round of the tournament.

Maryland claimed the No. 6 spot this week, moving up seven spots from last week. The Terrapins will play in the NCAA Tournament as a No. 4 seed, and will entertain the winner of Thursday’s Wake Forest versus UMBC match in the second round on Sunday.

Michigan State came in at No. 13 on the ballot. The Spartans received a No. 3 seed in the NCAA Tournament, and will host the winner of the Oakland versus Kentucky match in the second round.

Northwestern earned the No. 17 position this week. The Wildcats will host SIU Edwardsville on Thursday in the first round of the NCAA Tournament.
