No. 13 North Carolina defeats Northwestern, 1-0, in Round 4 of the NCAA Championship. The Wildcats end the 2008 season with a 15-5-3 record. No. 3 St. John’s (19-2-3) def. No. 6 Indiana (14-7-3), 3-2 (OT) No. 3 St. John's defeated No. 6 Indiana, 3-2, in overtime in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship. Indiana ends its season with a 14-7-3 record. Third Round Saturday, Nov. 29 No. 6 Indiana (14-6-3) def. No. 11 Michigan (13-6-3), 3-0 Indiana takes down Michigan, 3-0, in the third round of the NCAA Men's Soccer Championship. Michigan finishes the season 13-6-3. Indiana will play St. John's in Round 4 on Saturday at 5 p.m. ET. Sunday, Nov. 30 Northwestern (15-4-3) def. No. 5 Akron (17-2-4), 1-0 The Wildcats upstage No. 5 Akron, 1-0, in the third round of the NCAA Championship. Northwestern will square off against No. 13 seed North Carolina on Saturday at 2 p.m. ET.

Notre Dame, 2-1 Northwestern defeats Nortre Dame, 2-1, in the second round of the NCAA Championship. The Wildcats will take on the Akron in Round 3.
