The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) released its final rankings with Indiana, Maryland, Ohio State and Rutgers garnering recognition among the top 25.
Maryland came in at No. 7 after closing out the season with a 12-5-6 record (3-2-3 Big Ten mark). The Terrapins advanced to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Tournament and earned the Big Ten Tournament title this season.
Ohio State claimed the No. 14 spot on the poll. The Buckeyes advanced to the third round of the NCAA Tournament and were named the Big Ten Champion after completing the season with a 13-7-3 overall record and a 5-2-1 conference mark.
Indiana collected the No. 16 position after advancing to the third round of the national tournament. The Hoosiers closed out the season with a 13-5-3 record and a 4-3-1 Big Ten mark.
Rutgers came in at No. 25 after advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament and finishing the season with a 12-7-2 record (4-4-0 conference mark).
