Swimmer of the Week

Halasz earns Swimmer of the Week after helping Indiana to its second consecutive invitational win of the season at the 2004 Orange Bowl Classic, a sprint-style short course meter (SCM) format meet, in Key Largo.  The senior posted a victory in the 50-meter backstroke (28:01) and was part of the winning 200-meter medley relay team (1:45.91).  Halasz also competed in the 50-meter freestyle (25:43) and 50-meter breaststroke (32.08), finishing fourth and eighth, respectively.

This is Halasz's first weekly award of his career.
