Indiana Sweeps Swimming and Diving Weekly Awards

Men's Swimmer of the Week Senior Titus Knight took first place in two individual events and led Indiana to a victory in the 400-yard relay as the Hoosiers beat Michigan, 163-157, for the first time since the1998-99 season in dual meet action. Knight swept the 100-yard and 200-yard freestyles, posting a then-season best time of 44.83 in the 100 freestyle. In the 200 freestyle, Knight posted an NCAA provisional time of 1:38.17. The Austin, Texas, native led off the 400 freestyle relay with a time of 44.56 as the Hoosiers finished in 3:00.09, an NCAA provisional time and the second-fastest time for the team this year. Last Indiana Men's Swimmer of the Week: Eric Ress (Oct. 26, 2010) Men's Diver of the Week Indiana's Mick Dell'Orco earns the first weekly diving award of his career after posting two NCAA Zone qualifying marks en route to helping the Hoosiers defeat the Wolverines, 163-137, last weekend. On the platform, the sophomore earned a first place finish and scored a career-best 387.23.
