Sophomore Dan Madwed was one of two multiple-event winners for the seventh-ranked Wolverines as Michigan defeated No. 20 Indiana, 158-82, to kick off Big Ten competition. Madwed picked up an NCAA consideration time in the 200-yard freestyle (1:38.24) while just missing another in winning the 200-yard butterfly (1:48.15). Sophomore David Boudia led the Boilermakers to a sweep of the top five places in both springboard events last weekend during a dual against Michigan State. The Noblesville, Ind., native scored 377.40 points from the one-meter and tied his season-best score of 469.80 off the three-meter to win both events and help Purdue defeat the Spartans 244-124.
