Swimmer of the Week

Maire garners his first career Swimmer of the Week honor after having one of the best all-around weekends for Purdue as the Boilermakers defeated Eastern Michigan and Michigan State in back-to-back days.  The freshman placed first in three events on Friday as he produced the team's fastest time of the season in the 400-yard individual medley (3:55.23).  He also won the 100-yard back (50.75) and was part of the 200-yard free relay (1:25.29).  Against Conference rival Michigan State, the Dijon, France native turned in a pair of victories in the 200-yard backstroke (1:49.30) and 200-yard freestyle and swam in the 400-yard freestyle relay that placed second in 3:06.65.

Diver of the Week

Richeson collects Diver of the Week after posting two first place finishes in the diving well to help the Buckeyes to a 163-111 win over Ohio University on Saturday.  The senior claimed the 1-meter and 3-meter boards with scores of 312.08 and 343.43, respectively. 

This is Richeson's first weekly accolade of the season and third of his career.
