Michigan and Purdue Garner Weekly Big Ten Men's Swimming and Diving Honors

Men's Swimmer of the Week Michigan's Dan Madwed earns the third Big Ten Swimmer of the Week award of his career after posting first-place finishes and NCAA provisional times in all three of his events over the weekend against Southern Methodist and Purdue. In the SMU Classic, the junior picked up wins in the 100-and 200-yard butterfly with respective times of 47.99 and 1:45.28. Against Purdue the Stamford, Conn., native took part in the 200-butterfly, posting a time of 1:46.52. Last Michigan Men's Swimmer of the Week: Ryan Feeley (Nov. 16, 2010) Men's Diver of the Week Purdue's David Boudia earns his sixth Diver of the Week award this season after taking first place finishes in the springboards events against Michigan State and Michigan last weekend. Against the Spartans, Boudia established new pool records in both the one- and three-meter events after he scored 415.87 on the one-meter and 434.69 on the three-meter. During the Michigan dual, the Noblesville, Ind., native continued his success on the one- and three-meter boards, posting scores of 397.72 and 445.79.
