Co-Swimmers of the Week
Ben Hensen, Indiana

Hensen won every event he competed in and posted one NCAA consideration time as he helped the Hoosiers defeat No. 17 Kentucky, 160-137, last weekend. Against the Wildcats, the junior won the 100- and 200-yard backstroke events in 50.03 and 1:49.26, respectively. He went on to claim the 100 butterfly event in 49.93 before swimming on the winning 200-yard medley relay that earned a provisional time of 1:29.19. This is the first weekly accolade of Hensen's career.
Eric Nilsson, Northwestern

Nilsson earns his first Swimmer of the Week honor as he claimed three individual events, swam on a winning relay and posted one NCAA provisional time in the Wildcats' 172-128 victory over No. 19 Notre Dame last weekend. The freshman began the meet by touching the wall first in the 200-yard freestyle event with a time of 1:40.41. He went on to turn in times of 4:35.55 and 1:51.11 in the 500 freestyle and 200 butterfly, respectively, to win both races. Nilsson also was a part of the winning 800 freestyle relay that broke a seven-year old pool record with a time of 6:33.85.
Diver of the Week
Ryan Fagan, Indiana
SR, Pittsburgh, Pa./Jefferson
Fagan claims Diver of the Week honors for the second time this season after diving his way into the IU record books as he broke a 16-year old mark set by Olympic gold medalist Mark Lenzi. Fagan scored an amazing 399.30 on the three-meter board, topping the previous standard of 397.65 which was set during the 1990 season. The Pittsburgh, Pa., native also dominated the one-meter competition, winning the title with a score of 321.22. He has now been named Diver of the Week three times in his career.
