Swimmer of the Week
Matt Grevers, Northwestern
Sr., Lake Forest, Ill./Lake Forest
Grevers ended his Northwestern dual-meet career by posting three NCAA "A" times and four pool records to help the Wildcats to wins over No. 12 Michigan and No. 13 Ohio State over the weekend. The senior set pool records in the 100- and 200-yard backstrokes with respective times of 47.14 and 1:43.07 - both "A" cuts, and also swam an automatically qualifying leadoff leg in the 400-yard medley relay. This marks Grevers' fourth award of the season and the 10th of his career, tying him with Michigan's Peter Vanderkaay for most men's swimming season and career honors.
