Purdue Sweeps Swimming and Diving Awards

Men's Swimmer of the Week Purdue's Albert Miller led the way for Purdue, sweeping the breaststroke events and swimming a leg on the victorious 400-yard medley relay team. In the relay, he helped the team post a season-best and NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 3:17.43. He set another NCAA provisional mark in the 100 breast, clocking in at 55.15. In the 200 breast, the Boilermaker set a new Purdue season-best time of 2:01.75. This is the first weekly swimming award of the season for Miller and the first for Purdue since 2009. Last Purdue Men's Swimmer of the Week: Andrew Langenfeld (Feb. 3, 2009) Men's Diver of the Week Purdue's David Boudia earns his ninth Diver of the Week award this season after defending his titles in the platform and synchronized platform at the U.S. Diving Winter Nationals. He teamed with Nick McCrory of Duke to win the synchronized title with a score of 449.13. On his way to the platform title, he received 10 perfect scores totaling a final score of 578.05.
