  • Claimed four first-place finishes in a dual meet against Iowa in Ann Arbor, Mich., on Sept. 27
  • Placed first in the 50-yard freestyle (20.50), 100-yard freestyle (44.88), 200-yard medley relay (1:28.69) and 400-yard freestyle relay (2:58.77)
  • His four first-place finishes helped propel the defending national champion Wolverines to a 182-110 win over the Hawkeyes
  • Earned his first Swimmer of the Week award

Diver of the Week
James Ross, Michigan
Jr. – Richmond, Va. – Collegiate School

  • Placed first in the one-meter (337.05) and third in the three-meter (316.05) diving competitions against Iowa on Sept. 27
  • His one-meter score was an NCAA Zone Diving qualifying mark
  • Earned his second Diver of the Week honor

Freshman of the Week

  • Posted three top-five individual finishes against Michigan on Sept. 27
  • Placed second in the 200-yard breastroke (2:02.10), third in the 200-yard individual medley (1:54.56), seventh in the 200-yard freestyle (1:42.19) and second in the 400-yard freestyle relay (3:03.27)
  • Earned his first Freshman of the Week honor
