Fesenko earned Swimmer of the Week accolades after touching the wall first in Indiana's season opener. The junior swept the distance events finishing first in the 1,000-yard freestyle (9:17.94) and 500 freestyle (4:30.03) against defending National Champion Auburn. The Kiev, Ukraine native also claimed fourth place in the 200-yard butterfly in a time of 1:51.62.

Pierce was named Diver of the Week after a first-place finish in the Nittany Lions' season opening win at West Virginia, 165.5-67.5. The junior took first in the three-meter competition, an event he excelled in last season, with a score of 344.10.
