Men's Swimmer of the Week
David Plummer, Minnesota
Jr., Oklahoma City, Okla./Westmoore


Plummer won both the 100- (49.22) and 200-yard (1:48.43) backstroke and swam a 23.33 lead leg on the 200 medley relay (1:30.69) team that also cruised to a first-place finish.  The Minnesota junior, who was named to the Team USA roster for the 2007 World University Games, impressively won the 100-yard backstroke by more than two seconds last week as well.

Men's Diver of the Week
Mike Alderman, Penn State
Sr., Arlington, Va./Yorktown

Alderman won both the one-meter and three-meter events during Penn State's first meet of the year this past weekend.  The Nittany Lion senior, who helped PSU past West Virginia, scored 319.80 on the one-meter board, which was an NCAA Zone A qualifying score.
