Swimmer of the Week

Sean Kelly, Minnesota
JR, Omaha, Neb./Creighton Prep
Kelly was named Swimmer of the Week after finishing first in two individual events last week for the Golden Gophers in a losing effort at No. 4 Florida, 147-153.  The junior dominated both breastroke events as he won the 100 by almost a second (56.81) and the 200 by exactly two seconds (2:04.13).  Kelly was also part of a 200-yard medley relay team that finished second with a time of 1:30.22. 

Diver of the Week

Justin Laskowski, Michigan State
SR, Bay City, Mich./Bay City Western
Laskowski earns Diver of the Week after sweeping both boards in a 164-125 win over Iowa.  The senior qualified for the NCAA Regionals after posting marks of 326.62 in the one-meter competition and 343.27 in the three-meter event.
