Mortimer was named Swimmer of the Week after winning four individual events and a relay in a triple dual meet as the Golden Gophers defeated No. 12 North Carolina, 239-127, and Virginia Tech, 268-98.  The senior won the 1,000-yard freestyle in 9:06.19, the 200 individual medley (1:50.39) and the 400 individual medley (3:55.85).  His time of 4:25.78 in the 500-yard freestyle was an NCAA provisional cut.  Mortimer, a four-time national champion, also swam the lead leg of the 800-yard freestyle relay that posted a winning time of 6:37.44. 

Diver of the Week

LoBue collects Diver of the Week accolades after placing first off two boards and second off another at the four-team Boilermaker Challenge.  The sophomore finished second in the three-meter (11 dives) with a personal best of 508.10.  LoBue placed first in the one-meter with a score of 312.15 and captured the platform competition with a 498.90.  All of LoBue's scores qualified him for the NCAA Central Regional Diving Zones.  Purdue finished with 836 points and placed third in the team competition behind No. 3 Florida (1,014), No. 10 Virginia (919), while defeating No. 19 Texas A&M (678).
