The conference office announced on Tuesday the fifth weekly men’s swimming and diving awards for meets through Nov. 2-9. Purdue’s Aaron Koger nabbed the weekly swimming laurel while Boilermaker teammate garnered Diver of the Week accolades. The selection marks the first time a Purdue tandem swept the weekly laurels since Jon Schmitt and David Boudia accomplished the feat on Nov. 18, 2008.
Men’s Swimmer of the Week:
Aaron Koger, Purdue
Sr. - Richmond, Ind. – Richmond
Senior Aaron Koger swam an NCAA provisional-qualifying time of 55.20 while winning the 100 breaststroke in the Boilermakers' 195-105 victory over Notre Dame on Friday. Koger also won the 200 breaststroke in 2:01.99 and swam on the victorious 200 medley relay team against the Irish. On Saturday in a dual against Northwestern, Koger continued his unbeaten start to the season in the 100 breaststroke, touching the wall in 55.71. The Richmond, Ind., native capped his stellar weekend by contributing to the victorious 400 medley relay while helping Purdue to a 183-109 team victory over the Wildcats.

Men’s Diver of the Week:
David Colturi, Purdue
Jr. - Sylvania, Ohio - St. John's Jesuit
Junior David Colturi continued his dominance on the one-meter so far this season, claiming top honors in the event in each of Purdue’s dual meets last week. Colturi posted 343.50 points against Notre Dame and 327.53 against Northwestern to improve his unbeaten streak from the lowest springboard to four. Colturi also won the three-meter against Northwestern with his 356.70 score one day after finishing in second place with 351.45. The Sylvania, Ohio, native posted NCAA Zone qualifying marks in each of his four dives over the weekend.
