Grevers earns Swimmer of the Week honors for the first time this year after several record-setting performances at the three-day NU TYR Invitational last weekend. The sophomore broke eight pool records and was named Co-Swimmer of the Meet. Grevers posted an NCAA automatic qualifying time in the 200-yard IM (1:45.84) while earning consideration times in the 50-yard freestyle (19.93) and 100-yard backstroke (47.45). He also swam on three record-breaking relays that finished with NCAA provisional times, 400-yard medley relay (3:15.16), 200-yard medley relay (1:28.82) and 400-yard freestyle relay (2:57.38). His leadoff legs in both the 400-yard medley and 400-yard freestyle relays set new records.

This is Grevers' third career weekly honor. Northwestern won the three-day meet with 1,033.5 points, 126.5 points ahead of second-place No. 23 Pittsburgh.

Diver of the Week

Marc Carlton, Indiana

Carlton collects Diver of the Week laurels after capturing two event titles and a pair of NCAA zone-qualifying marks at the 2004 Indiana Invitational. The senior won the three-meter and platforms events with zone-qualifying scores of 537.65 and 527.50, respectively. Carlton also posted a third place finish in the one-meter event with 279.50 points.

This is Carlton's second weekly award of the season and fourth of his career. Indiana won the three-day meet with 1240 points, while No. 12 Kentucky finished second with 1,010.50 points.
