Swimmer of the Week
Eric Nilsson, Northwestern
Sr., Weston, Mass. / Weston
Nilsson was named the TYR Invitational Swimmer of the Meet after racking up five-place finishes and totaling 113 points. His 500-yard freestyle time of 4:19.87 set a new Northwestern pool record and exceeded the NCAA ‘B’ cut time. The senior also met NCAA standards in the 200 freestyle (1:34.84), 200 butterfly (1:45.76), 400 individual medley (3:50.98) and as a member of NU’s 800 freestyle relay (6:36.17). Nilsson takes home his fourth career weekly honor.

Diver of the Week
Landon Marzullo, Indiana

Marzullo qualified for the NCAA Zone meet in all three diving events this past weekend at the Hoosierland Invitational. He notched first-place dives off the one-meter board and platform, scoring 402.40 and 387.85, respectively. His three-meter score of 390.65 was good enough for second, just missing top honors by 2.80 points. Marzullo earns his fifth career weekly laurel and his third of the season.
