Matt Patton, Michigan

Patton racked up three individual first-place finishes and participated on the winning 800-yard freestyle relay squad, in a Michigan victory at the Husky Invitational. The junior recorded two NCAA `A' times in the 500 and 1,650 freestyles, touching the wall at 4:16.23 and 14:49.09, respectively. The aforementioned relay team posted a NCAA `B' time of 6:30.31 for the win. His winning time of 1:36.19 in the 200 freestyle was good enough for a `B' standard as well. Patton garners his first career weekly accolade.

Co-Divers of the Week
Ryan McIntosh, Northwestern
Sr., Louisville, Ky./ Trinity
McIntosh competed in the Georgia Invitational last week diving against competitors from No. 5 Florida, No. 9 Georgia, and No. 14 Virginia, qualifying for NCAA Zones off the one-meter board and the platform. From the platform, the Wildcat senior posted a first-place mark of 335.35, winning the event by nearly 55 points and setting a new career-best. McIntosh's score off the one-meter (311.00) positioned him third among 10 divers at the Invite. This marks the second career Diver of the Week honor for the Louisville, Ky. native.

Wes Wieser, Ohio State
Jr., Chesterfield, Mo./ Parkway Central
Wieser set a new McCorkle Aquatic Pavilion record in his execution off the platform at the Ohio State Swimming and Diving Invitational, posting a score of 398.70. Wieser won the event by nearly 18 points and qualified for the NCAA Zone meet in March. The Missouri native takes home his first career weekly honor.
