The conference office announced on Tuesday the ninth weekly men's swimming and diving awards. Ohio State's Justin Farra earned the nod for Swimmer of the Week while Purdue's David Boudia earned Diver of the Week honors.
Men's Swimmer of the Week
Justin Farra led the Buckeyes to a first-place finish and was the second-highest collegiate scorer at the AT&T U.S. Short Course National Championships last weekend. The senior's times in the 200-and 400-yard individual medley and the 100-and 200-yard breaststroke were among the top-five of all collegiate swimmers. Farra set a school record in the 200-yard individual medley with a preliminary time of 1:45.30, good for the fourth-fastest time in the country.
