Swimmer of the Week
Adam Schmitt, Michigan State

Schmitt collects Swimmer of the Week accolades after claiming two first-place finishes in a dual meet win against Ball State, 128-115. The sophomore won the 200-yard individual medley in 1:57.01 and anchored his 200 medley relay team that touched the wall first in a time of 1:34.02. This is Schmitt's first weekly honor of his career.
Diver of the Week

Akerley earns Diver of the Week for the first time in his career after placing in the top three in both the one and three-meter diving events last weekend. The junior was the runner-up on the one-meter board with a score of 271.80. In the three-meter event, he finished in third place with a 234.97 mark. The Spartans defeated Ball State, 128-115, to post MSU's first road win of the season.
