Swimmer of the Week
Rudolf Wagenaar, Michigan State

Wagenaar collects Swimmer of the Week after claiming two first-place finishes in a dual meet win against Ball State, 175-125. The junior won the 100-yard backstroke in 52.48 and touched the wall first in the 200-yard backstroke in a time of 1:55.33. The double win was the first of the season for Wagenaar.
This is Wagenaar's first weekly award of the season and first career nod.
Diver of the Week
Justin Laskowski, Michigan State
SR, Bay City, Mich./Bay City Western
Laskowski earns Diver of the Week after winning the one-meter board with a score of 288.30. In the three-meter event, the senior finished in a tie for second place with a 271.50 mark. The Spartans defeated Ball State, 175-125, to post back-to-back dual meet wins for the first time since the 2002-03 season.
This is Laskowski's second award of the season and third of his career.
