Michigan sophomore Evan King earns the first men's tennis weekly honor of 2011 after winning two singles and two doubles matches at the Key Biscayne Individuals last weekend. King defeated Yannick Weihs of No. 40 Denver, 6-1, 6-0, and Neal Skupski of No. 45 LSU, 6-4, 6-3, also dropping a close match to Ed Corrie of fifth-ranked Texas, 7-6 (5), 6-4. The sophomore paired with teammate Alex Buzzi to defeat Tom Knights and Stefan Szacinski of LSU, 8-6, to kick off doubles action. King and teammate Jason Jung, the 28th-ranked doubles pair in the country, then took down Denver's Jens Vorkefeld and Andrew Landwerlen, 8-1. King and Jung closed out the weekend with an 8-6 loss to Texas' Corrie and Jean Anderson, the fifth-ranked pair in the nation.
