Heiser opened the 2008 season with a perfect 6-0 record in both singles and doubles competition over the weekend at the Arizona State Invitational. Heiser, ranked 70th nationally, notched wins over No. 45 Ralph Knupfer of Rice and No. 24 Kellen Damico of Texas in singles. He teamed up with senior Ryan Rowe to post a win over the No. 12 Longhorn tandem of Ed Corrie and Hubert Chodkiewciz in one of their three doubles victories. This is Heiser's first weekly accolade of his career.
