Hung went undefeated in singles competition on Saturday at Michigan's No. 2 spot, and teamed with sophomore Matko Maravic to upset the No. 4-ranked doubles team in the nation during the Wolverines' second dual match of the day. Hung's win at No. 2 singles keyed the Wolverines' come-from-behind win against the Broncos in the first match. With his team trailing 2-1 in singles competition, Hung ignited Michigan's momentum with a 6-4, 6-2 decision over Jose Orozco at No. 2.

Against Ball State, Hung and Matko Maravic clinched Michigan's first team point with an 8-5 upset of Ball State's No. 4-ranked doubles team of Matt Baccarani and Patrick Thompson.

Hung also claimed Michigan's third point of the match with a 6-3, 6-2 victory against Joe Epkey. The win marked Hung's 50th career singles victory at Michigan and improved his record to 7-7 on the season. This is Hung's first career Athlete of the Week selection. He is the first Michigan player to claim the weekly honor since Maravic on April 27, 2005.
