Indiana's Praibis Earns Athlete of the Week Award

Jakub Praibis, Indiana No. 61 Jakub Praibis earns his second career Big Ten Athlete of the Week award after winning a pair of singles matches at the No. 1 position and two doubles contests last week. The Hoosiers defeated Murray State and Butler by decisive scores of 7-0 last Saturday. Against the Racers, Praibis won 6-4, 6-2 versus Fadi Zamjaoui. He also teamed with junior Dmytro Ishtuganov to win 8-0 at the No. 2 doubles spot. In the match with the Bulldogs, Praibis beat James Low, 6-4, 6-1, at the top spot. He partnered with Ishtuganov, this time at the top doubles spot, and won 8-3. Praibis is now 3-0 on the spring season. Praibis is the first Hoosier to earn the weekly honor since Ryan Recht on April 14, 2004.
