Steven Moneke, earns his second consecutive share of the weekly award after helping the No. 3 Buckeyes to two 7-0 victories against No. 25 Notre Dame and No. 14 LSU this past weekend. Highlighting Moneke's weekend was his No. 1 singles performance against the Tigers where the two-time All-American defeated No. 5 Michael Venus, the 2008 ITA All-American Singles Champion, 6-2, 6-3. The win improves Moneke’s record to 20-3 in singles this season, winning eleven-consecutive matches in 2008-09. The Buckeye senior is 11-0 in singles dual action, and is currently third on the all-time Buckeye career singles wins list with 121 triumphs. In doubles, Moneke is 15-4 overall this season, tied with sophomore Matt Allare for most doubles wins on the Scarlet and Gray squad.

Moritz Baumann, Wisconsin

Moritz Baumann earns his third weekly laurel of the 2009 campaign after improving to 9-0 in singles play last weekend to secure his undefeated status on the season. In doubles, Baumann and teammate Marek Michalicka led Wisconsin’s 4-3 defeat over Wake Forest on Sunday. Finishing first at the No. 1 position, the Badger tandem defeated the No. 1 doubles pair in the country of Cory Parr and Steven Forman. The Wisconsin duo was down 4-3 before winning the next five straight games to win the match 8-4. With the win, the No-18 ranked pair keeps their unbeaten streak alive as they improve to 7-0. The pair is ranked No. 18 in doubles, and Baumann is No. 36 in singles.
