Praibis won a pair of singles matches and one doubles contest this past the weekend to earn Athlete of the Week honors.  The senior defeated then-No. 14 Kevin Anderson of Illinois, who entered the match with an unblemished mark of 13-0, in a three-set thriller, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. The Hoosiers lost 4-3 to the Illini over the weekend, but played valiantly in splitting the six singles matches, marking just the second time in 11 matches a team has taken three singles contests from Illinois.  Praibis has now beaten five ranked opponents this season and 12 for his career.  He is 8-2 at the No. 1 singles spot this spring and 12-6 on the year.  He also bested Penn State's Mark Barry, 6-3, 6-4, as IU blanked the Nittany Lions, 7-0.  Praibis teamed with junior Dmytro Ishtuganov to best Bradley Hunter and Ryan Berger of PSU, 8-5.  Praibis also vaulted from 100th to 56th in this week's ITA poll.
