Maravic earns his third Athlete of the Week honor of the year after turning in one of his strongest performances of his young career against the 20th-ranked LSU Tigers last week. The Michigan freshman upset No. 10 Ken Skupski, 7-5, 2-6, 6-3, at No. 1 singles before teaming with Brian Hung for an impressive upset over the sixth-ranked tandem of Skupski and Mark Growcott 8-5 at No. 1 doubles.
Maravic is undefeated at the top singles position (3-0) and moves into sole possession of the team lead in overall (15-8) and dual match (10-4) victories in 2004-05.
