Ohio State's Kronauge Wins Second Weekly Honor of 2010

Athlete of the Week Kronauge claims his fifth Big Ten Athlete of the Week honor and second of the 2010 season after leading third-ranked Ohio State to four victories last week, including three over ranked foes. In mid-week matches, Kronauge defeated Stefan Szacinski of No. 41 LSU, 6-4, 6-1, on Tuesday and No. 96 Nate Schnugg of seventh-ranked Georgia, 6-3, 6-2, on Thursday in a pair of 4-2 Ohio State victories. On Sunday, the Buckeyes hosted a doubleheader, first against No. 62 Penn State, where a straight-sets victory, 6-1, 7-6 (7-5), over Ryan Gormley paced Ohio State to a 7-0 win. In Sunday’s nightcap against Cleveland State, the senior lost just two games in a 6-0, 6-2 win over Robert Fox as the Buckeyes won, 4-0, extending their home winning streak to 103.
