SR, Toledo, Ohio/Toledo St. Francis de Sales

Wilson piloted the Buckeyes' record weekend with a 4-0 performance to help No.5 Ohio State to a shutout win over Purdue and a 5-2 upset of No. 5 Illinois. After securing the Buckeyes' first victory against the Illini since beating them in the 2001 Big Ten Tournament title match, OSU improved to 16-1 on the season, 4-0 in Big Ten play, and moved up to No. 4 in the latest ITA national rankings.

He teamed with Scott Green at No. 1 doubles to up-end Purdue's Eric Hodgman and Kelubia Mabatah, 8-0, before dispatching of the Boilermakers' Jarred Leibner (4-6, 6-0, 6-3) in the No. 5 singles match. Against the Illini, Wilson and Green gave the Buckeyes an early advantage with an 8-3 win over Illinois' 25th-ranked tandem of Ryler DeHeart and Ruben Gonzales. Wilson and Green, the second-ranked doubles team in the country, improved to 15-1 in dual match play and 21-2 on the season. The Toledo, Ohio native secured the match with a straight set victory over Illinois' Marc Spicijaric at No. 6 singles. This marks the first selection of Wilson's career and the second consecutive award for a Buckeye as Chris Klingemann claimed the honor on March 29.
