Steven Moneke, ranked eighth in the latest ITA polls, won three singles and two doubles matches last week to lead the No. 5 Ohio State men's tennis team to victory over No. 13 Kentucky (5-2), Michigan State (7-0) and No. 47 Michigan (6-1) to improve to 23-1 overall on the season. Highlighting Moneke's weekend was in doubles play where he paired as the No. 39 duo in the national with teammate Justin Kronauge against Kentucky's No. 19 Bruno Agostinelli and Brad Cox. The Buckeye duo won 9-8 against the Wildcat pair, claiming the doubles point for Ohio State. Moneke improved to 29-4 overall in singles with three wins over the week. The two-time ITA All-American is three wins away from breaking the program record for career singles wins of 132 set by former Buckeye Vince Ng (1999-03).
