Four Teams Vie for Chance to Compete in Tournament Final

The top-ranked Ohio State men's tennis team will play fourth-seeded Michigan in the semifinal round of the Big Ten Tournament at 10 a.m. (ET) in Ann Arbor, Mich. The match will mark the second time this season the two squads have met at U-M's Varsity Tennis Center, as the Buckeyes topped the Wolverines 6-1 on April 5. Ohio State enters the match after a quick 4-0 win over No. 8 Wisconsin while Michigan edged No. 5 Northwestern, 4-2.

Second-seeded Illinois will match up against No. 6 Indiana in the afternoon contest at 2 p.m. (ET). The Illini advanced with a 4-0 win over No. 7 Penn State and Indiana upset No. 3 Minnesota, 4-1 to move forward in the bracket. In the last meeting between the two teams on March 31, Illinois swept all three doubles matches and notched five wins in singles to defeat the Hoosiers, 6-1.
