Illinois 4, Louisville 1: The Illini won't have to worry about the cold conditions the rest of the season thanks to their 4-1 second round victory over Louisville in front of nearly 350 Illini supporters at Atkins Tennis Center on Sunday. The win sends the Illini to College Station, Texas, host of the NCAA Championships, where Illinois learned they will face No. 18 Florida St. at 3 p.m. CDT on Saturday, May 21. Full Story...

Tennessee 4, Ohio State 2: The No. 26 Ohio State men's tennis team fell, 4-2, to No. 14 Tennessee Sunday in NCAA second round action at the Varsity Outdoor Courts in Knoxville, Tenn. The Buckeyes finished the season 20-9 overall, 10-3 in Big Ten play. Full Story...

Illinois 4, Quinnipiac 0: The Fighting Illini opened NCAA Tournament play on Saturday morning with a swift and emphatic 4-0 victory over the Quinnipiac Bobcats in front of nearly 250 looking on at Atkins Tennis Center. Due to rainy conditions earlier in the morning, the match was moved indoors. The Illini have now advanced to the second round every year since the tournament expanded to 64-teams in 1999.
