For the first time in program history the No. 3-seed Ohio State men’s tennis team advanced to the NCAA Championships finals after defeating No. 7 UCLA on Monday afternoon at the George P. Mitchell Tennis Center in College Station, Texas.  The Buckeyes (36-1) rallied from an early deficit to edge the Bruins, 4-3, and earn a bid to compete for the tournament crown.

With the national title in sight, the Buckeyes look to face No. 8 USC (24-5) in the NCAA Championship at 3 p.m. (ET) on Tuesday. The Trojans topped No. 12 Texas, 4-1, to emerge from the semifinal round.
