STANFORD, Calif. - Ohio State's Blaz Rola picked up a 6-3, 6-0 win over Michigan's Evan King on Friday to advance to the NCAA Men's Tennis Singles Championship quarterfinals. Rola, seeded fourth in the tournament, will take on top-seeded Steve Johnson of USC on Saturday.

In other singles action, Illinois' Dennis Nevolo fell to eighth-seeded Henrique Cunha, 4-6, 6-3, 6-2, to bow out of the tournament. Michigan's Jason Jung and King dropped a 7-6 (5), 6-2 match to Baylor's Robert Maytin and John Peers, eliminating them from the doubles championship, while Ohio State's Chase Buchanan and Rola fell to Louisville's Austen Childs and Viktor Maksimcuk, 7-6 (5), 6-1.

Rola and Johnson will take to the court at Noon PT on Saturday with the winner earning a spot in the national semifinals.
