Big Ten Men's Tennis Begins Fall Play This Weekend

The 2012 Big Ten men's tennis fall schedule begins Friday with four teams taking the court for the first time this season. Nebraska travels to Midland, Texas, for the Midland Invitational, and Wisconsin visits Milwaukee for the Milwaukee Tennis Classic. Illinois makes its debut in Olympia Fields, Ill., for the OFCC Invitational, and Penn State opens in Princeton, N.J., for the Princeton Invitational.

Iowa, Michigan, and Purdue make their debuts the following weekend. The Wolverines travel to Charlottesville, Va., for the UVA Ranked +1 Tournament, while the Hawkeyes open in Des Moines, Iowa, for the Drake Invitational. The Boilermakers welcome teams to West Lafayette, Ind., for the Purdue Invitational.

Minnesota follows the next weekend, when the Golden Gophers head to Philadelphia, Pa., for the Penn Invitational. Indiana, Michigan State, Northwestern, and Ohio State open play Sept. 29 in Tulsa, Okla., at the ITA All-American Championships.
