MEN'S TRACK & FIELD CO-ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

Jatsek earns Co-Athlete of the Week laurels after posting an NCAA regional qualifying mark at the Arizona State Invitational last weekend. The sophomore finished first in the shot put competition with a personal best distance of 57'09" (17.60 meters). He went on to place fifth in the hammer throw, claiming a mark of 179'3 1/4". The Walton Hills, Ohio native, who earned the 2006 indoor weekly honor on Jan. 24, has now recorded the first outdoor accolade of his career.

Rickey Pinkney, Purdue
JR, Lake Worth, Fla./Suncoast

Pinkney shares weekly honors as the Boilermaker shattered his personal-best 110-meter high hurdle time by .21 seconds. The junior ran to a first-place regional qualifying finish in 13.89. He then helped the Purdue 4x100-meter relay squad tie for third place, clocking in at 40.77. This is Pinkney's first outdoor laurel of his career. He was named indoor Athlete of the Week on Jan. 17, 2006.
