VanDenend takes home his first career award after shattering his own school record with a time of 13.49.31 in the 5,000 meters at the Stanford Invitational over the weekend. The senior broke his own mark by over 6.5 seconds and became Iowa's third NCAA regional qualifier. The time is the third-best in NCAA Division I so far this season.

James Groce, Wisconsin

Groce earns his first career honor after qualifying for NCAA Regionals in the 400 meters and the 4x400-meter relay at the Yellow Jacket Invitational. The sophomore's time of 46.61 in the 400 was his personal best and is sixth on UW's all-time list. Groce's 4x400 squad finished at 3:09.90, marking the second-best time in the Big Ten this season.

Sr., Mercersburg, Pa./James Buchanan
Pettner picks up his first career weekly award as he set a personal-best mark of 226'06.00" to win the javelin and qualify for NCAA Regionals at the Stanford Invitational over the weekend. The throw is currently the best in the conference and is the third-best in NCAA Division I.
