TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Keith Hopkins, Purdue
Jr., Chicago, Ill./Thornwood
Hopkins receives his second career award and his second this season after qualifying for NCAA Regionals with a time of 13.88 in the 110-meter hurdles at the Tom Botts Invitational over the weekend. The meet's Outstanding Male Athlete, Hopkins' time set a meet record and is the fastest mark in the conference and seventh in NCAA Division I this season.

CO-FIELD ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
Derek Gearman, Minnesota
Sr., Lennox, S.D./Lennox

Gearman takes home his first career outdoor award after winning the high jump at the Sun Angel Classic with an NCAA Regional qualifying height of 7'00.50". Gearman's mark is tied for the second-best in the Big Ten this season, and the senior has now qualified for NCAA Regionals in all three jumps events.

Fritz earns his first career outdoor honor after qualifying for NCAA Regionals in the high jump at the Sea Ray Relays with a height of 7'00.50". The mark tied him for second at the event, as the height was the best among collegiate competitors. The mark was half an inch off his season-best height of 7'01.00", which is tops in the Big Ten this season.
