Minnesota Men, Penn State Women Win Big Ten Titles

At the conclusion of the 2009 Big Ten Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the Minnesota men’s team and the Nittany Lion women took home first-place honors.  Penn State remained in a tight race with Michigan throughout the final day of competition, eventually ousting the Wolverines by .25 points to claim top podium spot.  The Gopher men racked up 130 team points followed by Ohio State with 103 points for second.
