Penn State heavyweight Cameron Wade earns his first Big Ten Wrestler of the Week honor after defeating two ranked opponents over the weekend to help the No. 2 Nittany Lions remain undefeated. Wade, the sixth-ranked heavyweight in the country, won a 3-2 decision against third-ranked Ryan Tomei of Pittsburgh, leading the Nittany Lions to a 30-7 win over the No. 22 Panthers on Friday. The junior followed with a 6-0 decision over 14th-ranked Ricky Alcala of Indiana, helping Penn State secure a 36-8 victory over the Hoosiers on Sunday. Wade moved to 21-3 this season after the back-to-back victories, while the Nittany Lions hold a 13-0 overall record and a 2-0 mark in Big Ten duals.
