True freshman Garrett Scott made his first start in a home Big Ten dual meet and made the most of it with a win over No. 4 Kellen Russell of Michigan at 141. The unranked Scott won by decision over Russell, 4-3, to grab his first home Big Ten meet win. The victory helped propel the No. 10 Nittany Lions past the No. 6 Wolverines, 20-14, as Penn State won six of 10 bouts in the victory. This is Scott's first career accolade.
