- Earned three dual wins to lead No. 4 Minnesota to victories over No. 7 Virginia Tech, No. 2 Iowa and No. 1 Oklahoma State en route to the NWCA Cliff Keen National Duals title
- Won an 8-2 decision against Virginia Tech’s Austin Gabel to help the Gophers to a 28-8 win over the Hokies in the quarterfinals
- Recorded a 3-1 decision over Iowa’s third-ranked Mike Evans to push Minnesota to a 22-15 win over the Hawkeyes in the semifinals
- Pinned Oklahoma State’s second-ranked Chris Perry (8:20) to lead Minnesota to a 28-9 win over the previously unbeaten Cowboys and the National Duals title
- Ranked first nationally at 174 pounds
- Earns the first conference honor of his career
