The third session of the 2013 Big Ten Wrestling Championships is now underway at Illinois' Assembly Hall. Consolation semifinals and seventh-place bouts begin at 11:30 a.m. CT, with first-, third- and fifth-place matches taking place in the championships' final session at 1:30 p.m.
Penn State holds the lead through two sessions, with Minnesota and Iowa trailing entering Sunday's final sessions. The Nittany Lions have 123.0 team points, while the Gophers follow with 112.5 points and the Hawkeyes round out the top three with 109.0 points. Iowa, Minnesota and Penn State are tied with four wrestlers slated for championship bouts on Sunday, while Illinois, Nebraska, Northwestern and Ohio State each have two wrestlers competing for weight class titles.
