Big Ten Sends 82 Student-Athletes to NCAA Wrestling Championships
March 13, 2013 Eighty-two Big Ten wrestlers are among the field of 330 competitors at the NCAA Wrestling Championships, the selection committee announced on Tuesday. The Big Ten contingent is made up of 72 wrestlers who automatically qualified through their performance at the Big Ten Championships, along with another 9 grapplers who earned at-large bids to the event. The 2013 NCAA Championships are set for March 21-23 at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. The complete release from the NCAA, along with brackets and at-large qualifiers, can be found HERE.
