NCAA Wrestling Championships Underway

At the close of the first and second sessions of NCAA Division I Wrestling, 28 Big Ten grapplers have advanced through the championship bracket while 30 additional wrestlers are still alive in the consolation rounds of their respective weight class. Overall, the top-ranked Iowa Hawkeyes stand in a tie for first place with Iowa State notched at 33 points. Ohio State trails close behind in third place with 30 points after day one of competition.

Friday's quarterfinal round will be broadcast live by ESPNU in high definition beginning at 11 a.m. CDT and the semifinals at 7 p.m., on ESPN2, ESPNU and ESPN360.com.
