The third and final day of the 2013 NCAA Wrestling Championships is now taking place at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa. Third-, fifth- and seventh-place matches get underway at 10 a.m. CT, while championship bouts are held at 6 p.m. CT. Session V can be seen live on ESPNU, while the title matches will be aired on ESPN.
Penn State closed the second day of the NCAA Wrestling Championships with 114.5 points to lead all teams. The Nittany Lions are followed by Oklahoma State (94 points), Minnesota (86), Iowa (68) and Cornell (51) to round out the top five.
The Big Ten boasts at least one finalist in all but two weight classes, including championship bouts with two Big Ten wrestlers in the 125-, 133-, 157-, and 285-pound weight classes. Penn State has five wrestlers competing in title bouts, while Iowa and Northwestern have two and Illinois, Minnesota and Ohio State each have one.
